KELANE'S CHIHUAHUAS
Kelane kennel is the result of love for my children Kelsey and Shane and my passion for dogs.
My family purchased our first show dog in 1990. We have been actively involved with loving, breeding, and showing since 1993. Kelane has been blessed with many wonderful dogs that have been competitive in the breed ring, group ring, and of course field.
Kelane is a small to medium size program, keeping our numbers small enough for individual love and care, and large enough to maintain an adequate gene pool.
Kelane dogs are not only sound in mind, but also sound in body. Producing AKC dogs that are true in structure with correct type. OFA's on heart and patella's. "Form and Function" has been a motto that we have followed closely with all of our animals, including our horses . This philosophy has enabled Kelane to achieve our goals.
We at Kelane are proud to present our champions and current contenders, for your enjoyment. Thank you for the visit.
A special thank you to my mentors. Not only did you teach me about the animals, you became family and treasures in my life. Love to all of you. Some of you are deeply missed. I could not have been on this journey without you. I have had the best!!! These Special Medallions are in recognition of each individual's valuable contribution to the sport of purebred dogs, who as the breeder-owner-handler of five (Silver) different dogs that have become champions of record and received an original Bred-By Medallion through their participation in AKC Events.
We recognize each for their successful participation and for their continued dedication to the different AKC Sports for purebred dogs.
We wish each of them much success in future AKC events.
